Christina Goodson, MNCC, LPC, LSOTP

Christina Goodson is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with a specialized license in Sex Offender Treatment Therapy. She maintains her certification as a National Certified Counselor and possesses a Licensed Clinical Dependency Counselor-Intern License in Texas. She achieved an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, achieved an MS in Organizational Psychology, achieved a MS in Psychology and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology from Walden University. Christina has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, client-centered therapy, as part of her humanistic approach. Christina focuses on aspects of Gestalt, Gottman Method, Existentialism, mindfulness, family-systems, and, while keeping careful consideration of cultural concerns, sexuality, and practices. She has experience working with court mandated clients with various offenses, sex offenders, anxiety, depression, trauma-related diagnoses, and other life experiences.
